We are excited to inform all our partners and members that Association Food Networks has been elected as a member of the Multi- stakeholder Advisory Committee (MAC) of the One Planet (10YFP) Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) Programme. After a screening of all applications carried out by the Programme’s coordination desk, and following the subsequent online vote, it was confirmed that the Association Food Networks has been elected as a member of the MAC’s private sector cluster. The MAC member is a 2 year term that starts with the upcoming face-to-face meeting of the MAC, which will take place on 11-12 October 2019 at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
We are very grateful to collaborate with and serve One Planet (10YFP) Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) Programme as an active MAC member.

About
The Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) Programme of the 10-Year Framework for Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns (10YFP)
The aim of this global multi-stakeholder initiative is to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable consumption and production patterns in the agri-food sector. This objective is pursued through a systematic approach: sustainability all along the food value chain, from farm to fork. The initiative aims to do this through concrete activities and projects in the areas of raising public awareness, developing capacity, access to knowledge and information, and strengthening partnerships. The focal points of the programme include the promotion of sustainable diets and the reduction of food waste. Switzerland (FOAG) is co-leading the 10YFP Sustainable Food Systems Programme together with South Africa, WWF International and the Netherlands Development NGO Hivos. The Programme is also governed by a Multi- stakeholder Advisory Committee (MAC) represented by 23 institutions from different world regions and stakeholder groups .
